When I like a song, I will find reasons to make mixes around them and this one has popped up on a lot of those lately. It's a little weird that I picked a song by a relatively new band I really don't follow. That said, it has a lot of elements that I find in other songs I love. First, the synth. I'm not a techno lover AT ALL but there are a few bands like MGMT and Phoenix that use the keyboards in such a way that is so satisfying that it comes close to scratching an itch.
Also the lyrics are a little funny and sung at a breakneck pace which makes memorizing them for sing-a-longs in the car challenging yet, very satisfying.

I like this song. I've never heard it before (go figure), but I like the funny lyrics and happy little tone to it.
