Once upon a time, Matt and I dreamed of throwing an annual St. Patrick's Day party. Corned beef and cabbage, tons of people, kegs of beer, green decorations out the wazoo... Despite a very successful and wonderful 2011 edition, I am pretty sure we've decided this is to be an every-other-year event but, an event none the less!

We filled the kegerator for the first time in ages and drug the decorations box from out of the closet. Though many friends and family could not be with us, we were graced with many out of town guests this year. Jen drove up from Lincoln City with plenty of O'Pabst and Gummi Bears in tow. Tom and Shannon arrived with a corned beef brisket from Tacoma and am equally beefy four month old Ronan (seriously, he has some Michelin Man buns. So cute!) The Cain family made the journey from Bend along with their two pooches, Chi and Trixie, the latter of which nearly pulled off an escape act Sunday morning!
There were also a lot of local family and friends present to celebrate and although I made the rounds and got to talk to everybody, I tried to keep moving and thus, the night went by so fast! I hardly got any pictures this time around but here is what I was able to shoot off before the night got too ... Irish:

Oh yeah, these photos tell a number of stories. How is it that you always seem to be able to take a hand gesture from April and make it something so excellent? :)
Love the hat montage. If I get headlice from your greenwear, I will KILL you :) More likely I'll just get a tick or two for the canine party-downers.
What a FUN party!! Sorry to have missed it. :(
