Fear, Loathing

Today is D-Day and I can't concentrate on ANYTHING.  I was fine last night, even though all the managers and supervisors had to endure "Happy Hour" with the big boss and watch her put on a big teary performance about how hard it was to make this decision and how hard she fought for us and blah, blah, blah, beer.

I was even OK this morning as I stopped to get my coffee but just as I was about to get on Marine Dr. and head in, a big ass truck plowed in to a Corolla right in front of me.  I got the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach right then and it's still there.  I'm counting the minutes until 1:00pm...

For all the good it does, I'm thinking about you too. :(

Two days late, I'm sure you're over it. But maybe not. The anger your employees are feeling will probably only get worse, and is now going to affect productivity until close date. Good luck maintaining a supervisory professionalism :)
